It could be you! – the £10m Scoop 6

The races are picked, television cameras dispatched and the form study to find the all important six winners is well underway. An opportunity to land an expected total prize pool of £10m lies with the Scoop 6 tomorrow following 11 weeks of rollovers and interest levels are sky high to see if it will be won and of course, by how many people.

Organisers Betfred have selected races across three different meetings ( Newbury, Thirsk and Newmarket ) and are happy to confirm that, whilst they expect it to be won, they have tried their best to pick races that will make it a difficult as possible, to limit the likely number of winners.

This is nothing new, big fields and tricky handicaps have always been the mainstay of the challenge and the 6 chosen races tomorrow will have almost 80 runners between them. “It looks like it will be won” suggested Betfred trader Craig Reid to the Racing Post, and “if we can get three or four winners and make them millionaires out of this that is the aim, that’s why we have picked the races we have”.

Four of the six races will be on Channel 4’s Saturday racing coverage including the last from Thirsk due off at 4pm. It promises to be an exciting finale should tickets still remain in the running after 5 legs of the bet and judging by the bookmakers willing to take bets on the outcome that is very much expected. It’s a very hot favourite at 4/9 that the bet will finally be won.
