Found to start off at Curragh

Aidan O’Brien’s English 1,000 Guineas absentee Found will make her seasonal debut at the Curragh on Monday in the Group Three Canford Cliffs Athasi Stakes which features on a cracking seven-race card that is likely to provide clues to the Tattersalls Irish Guineas meeting later this month.

Last season’s Group One Prix Marcel Boussac winner will be ridden by Ryan Moore and face six-rivals in the seven-furlong contest that see’s impressive Cork maiden winner Shahzeena step up in class for the in-form Dermot Weld.

Weld is represented by the high class Fascinating Rock in the Group Three So You Think EBF Mooresbridge Stakes over 1m2f and that looks an intriguing clash with Jim Bolger’s recent course and distance Alleged Stakes winner Parish Hall.

A field of seven go to post for the fascinating Power EBF Tetrarch Stakes listed stakes as Shepherd’s Purse and Tombelaine bid to carry forward some good juvenile form on their seasonal debuts.

Early season winners Blood Moon and State Of Emergency clash in the opening two-year-old Zoffany EBF Fund Race over five-furlongs.

The ground at the Curragh is described as heavy on the straight course and soft to heavy on the round course.
