Oaks headed by Curvy
Curvy heads the market for the Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh this weekend and will line up fit and fancied for trainer David Wachman after success in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot this season.
Ryan Moore is set to miss the ride following a neck injury which means Wayne Lordan will be aboard as the filly bids to give her trainer a second Classic of the season after the handler saddled Legatissimo to win the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket earlier this summer.
The contenders contain more interest for the powerhouse Coolmore as Aidan O’Brien leaves in four runners Qualify,
Together Forever, Kissed By Angels and Words.
Jack Naylor for Jessica Harrington is set to line up although Jim Bolger will not run Pleascach and will rely on Stellar Glow in Saturday’s feature.
English raids come from Speedy Boarding ( James Fanshawe ) and Covert Love who has been impressive so far for Hugo Palmer and it’s John Gosden’s runner behind Curvy at Royal Ascot, Gretchen who also makes the intended line up.
