Test

Today’s Info 12th December 2014

Cracking action at Cheltenham today and a few bets to go to war with. Weather makes for a little concern with possible changes in what is expected but a very decent track should be able to handle it without causing too much in terms of mind changing?!

I’ve said it a few times about Benbane Head being a well treated and talented animal for return to fences this term. Had no chance with the trouble at Exeter last time but can still put this race to bed if he consents and gets a bit of luck over the fences. Tendency to hit one but stay galloping is his motto, without the mistakes he will go well and a bit of rain is ok. Overpriced and once more to the well with him for yours truly.

Big Easy will take plenty of beating today although the prices are not correct or close to for making him only a small wager – what was available when they first opened overnight was far more tempting but with his recent form and slightly better ground to work with now he will progress and prove best of this field I hope. A small bet at the current odds which is close to my minimum for punting purposes.

Finally a small bet on Duke of Lucca in the X Country is merited, he fits the bill for a converter to this test and with Balthazar King out of the way for a while this is an open contest of course. He handles it and can improve for another crack. A decent price and another small wager on a fascinating day at the track.

Advice –
