Today’s Info 12th May 2014

Good morning.

Another cross bar yesterday as The Game Changer found one improver too good at Killarney. Ran another very sound race and is perhaps caught a little with the mark, I still think he will have a role to play in a good hurdle again and is carried forward on the radar if hardly a good thing in waiting – yesterday was his best chance.

Sin Bin was part of the fiasco at Ludlow so plenty of nonsense surrounding that best left alone for now, we’ll see where he pops up next. Lambro encouraged again and didn’t get too close in second, a nice pot or two in the offing for his new trainer when they are ready to go I hope.

Today’s racing is ok and one bet stands out on the level at Musselbrough. Love Marmalade has run into form, is on a good mark and has a winning opportunity in the right grade now at 3.40pm. The run at this track last time can be marked up a little and the money has come for it overnight and this morning. Not sure 4/1 is the best price in the world but I can see him winning here.

Over the jumps I’d be interested to see if Ibsen attracts money in a maiden hurdle at Killarney – hard to believe he couldn’t figure if all is well and has been active on the flat running well enough. Has previous experience over hurdles at a decent level, albeit found out  when highly tried but would not be out of place putting a race like this to bed.

I am keen on both Kim Bailey’s Towcester runners, Bishophill Jack the easiest to back at the odds and would have to be a certainty for the frame with a clear round. Running into form, third in the race last year and on a fair mark, no superstar but horses for courses and looks solid to be involved.

It’s Monday so take it handy and good luck with your punts.

Advice –

Musselbrough 3.40 – Love Marmalade 0.75pt Win – 4/1 with most firms

Towcester 7.30 – Bishophill Jack 0.75pt e/w – 7/1 Stan James, Coral and Powers, 3 places and 1/5 odds
