Today’s Info 18th May 2014

Good morning.

Two tame enough runs yesterday. I’ve no bets today, been through the cards and whilst it will be interesting to watch plenty of it I’ve nothing that merits a wager.

Leading Light and Long Run could be the stars of the day, it will be fascinating to see the latter take on Auteuil with Ruby Walsh on top, it could ignite the horse and he will be well suited to the race, best of luck to them.

Leading Light is in a decent renewal of the Group 3 Vintage Crop Stakes and should win even though an O’Brien horse can be vulnerable kicking off campaigns with other races in mind. The card at Navan has some decent puzzles in it for support and should be a good days racing there for any that head over.

The Scoop6 was a rollover again, I’m able to report my attempt and most of those I know of all went south in the first race. Like all good perms that have had the midnight oil spent on them and needed the combined mathematical expertise of a Vorderman or Kasporov you are always in danger of looking like others who have tried the expensive perm and come up short…….
