Today’s Info 18th May 2015

Well yesterday did not go well, the selections all decided to have pretty much days off on the track and whilst I might retain Have A Great Day for a similar assignment sometime soon, Landau and Shipyard looked off their games and probably best parted company with for now! Time will tell.

One bet today this evening at Windsor where I was surprised to see Warrior Of Light not chalked up fav with the layers this morning. David Lanigan’s charge is a decent performer and has the benefit of a prep run so should strip ready to roll and comes here with the best form on offer.

Runs behind Mount Logan and Quest For More read very well and the comeback run was enough to suggest at this grade he was pick up a few more contests under optimum conditions and gets a solid opportunity to do so tonight. The Qatar racing Captain Morley looks priced up too short on return but ran well at Ascot to finish behind two nice types and is a player but the run could well be needed ahead of other engagements and although the Simcock yard is going well I’m not sure the gap will be bridged first time back against a solid race fit performer.

The rest of the field have something to find and most are also returning this season after winters off and so if Ted Durcan can make use of his charge early and kick on for home I expect he will be too tough.

Advice –

Windsor 8.05 – Warrior Of Light 0.75pt Win – 7/2 General
