Test

Today’s Info 20th April 2015

Found out yesterday trying to chase some value with the Aidan O’Brien charges at the Curragh but they clearly are needing a spin right now and the market let us know towards post time what to expect, that will change I’m sure as the summer gets closer!

Two small bets today come at Hexham  and hopefully can run well. The first is Persian Herald who has James Reveley up top and is back at the right trip and on good ground having spent the winter mixing it in softer ground and over further. Fences today for only the fifth time and with Reveley having the ride last time out I am glad he has the spin back over bigger obstacles today. Looks to have something to offer with this type of grade and if jumping ok looks likely to figure and is overpriced to do so.

The other is a Mia’s Anthem in the 3m1f Handicap Chase who is back from a big break and has a handy pilot on to reduce the burden at the top of the weights. Interesting runner on best form under these conditions and it would be good to see some market support for what looks a weak race. Had an entry for Fairyhouse too this week and they have decided to come here which bodes well and I’m prepared to take a view at the current odds that he can get involved. The favourite looks opposable at the odds for this test so it would be good to have live one against him.

Nothing appeals elsewhere on what is a busy day in terms of action so I’m sure it will get busier as the week progresses!

Advice –
