Today’s Info 24th November 2014

Good morning

We knew our fate early in the Troytown as the money was down for the winner in no uncertain terms and our selection fell early.

Nice card at Kempton today, the opener has been won by some very talented beasts. Bobs Worth, Sgt Reckless and Darlan on the rostrum and it should be second time lucky for West Wizard who was sent off 1/6 last year and was beaten so odds of 4/9 this am may not be the most tempting way to kick off the action for punters?!

Could well be a few odds on winners for Henderson with River Maigue and Polly Peachum lining up with seemingly straight forward tasks in front of them so punting is best directed elsewhere in search of a price or two.

The 2.45pm is a nice handicap and perhaps the betting moves have already sorted out the winner in Lord Landed, heavily supported and shows signs of continuing to be through the day but at 7/2 or so that bird has flown. I liked him for the race and was intrigued also to see Tenor Nivernais back on the track, he is priced about right for return but could be a little better than these if he is absolutely right back from a break.

I was interested in Roc D’Apsis this season improving on what has been seen but wasn’t happy with the return to the track last month. That said at double figures of around 10/1 I’d be supporting him here and so to see 16s plus around he is certainly worth chancing.  He was improving slowly last term and is only the baby of this field, there is more to come although the comeback run is a concern it would not be a big turn up in my eyes to see him figure, sadly the field is down to 7 so it’s win only purposes probably but an overpriced animal for sure.

There is also a big punt on Last Shot at Ludlow in the 2.20pm and that looks well placed, at 11/4 now it’s no great advice to get involved but along with Lord Landen the punters are giving some nice clues on what is a hotter Monday than we usually enjoy. If Lord Landed and this fella are slightly bigger come post time I will be taking a chance with the pair probably to cover the day.

Good luck.

Advice –

Kempton 2.45 – Roc D’ Apsis 0.75pt – 18/1 Coral and Victor, 20s in places
