Today’s Info 27th May 2015

Two small bets this evening to keep the show on the road. It’s the dip in quality that is usual as we move between a big weekend at the Curragh to the fun of the Derby meeting, there are some better races around this week so powder mainly kept dry.

That said a rare dip into the all weather for the column may pay off with a third time lucky attempt to catch Gabbiano right. Ran better than it first appears on both starts this term and does go well at Kempton. Needs a bit of luck in the trip this evening as always but is bubbling into form and David Parkes sadly sidelined then we do get the inform yard of Jeremy Gask showing intent with Freddie Tylicki booked up for the job. Can certainly take this and the price is fair to have another go this evening.

At Gowran Park it looks a good bit of placement for Toccata Blue by Ger Lyons this evening. A consistent and hardy type who often goes well fresh and did so on return but if backing that up tonight under Colin Keane then will be tough to beat. Lightly races last time out winner SR Carthage could be the main danger but that was a grinding effort on bad ground in a weak affair and is surely not g’teed to put it all in here under very different conditions and against better rivals, none less than the top weight.

The field has question marks over most and Toccata Blue can knuckle down and run a usual gallant race then the 5yo will take the beating here.

Small wagers but hopefully a winner or two will be found with a bit of luck.

Advice –

Kempton 7.40 – Gabbiano 0.5pt e/w – 14/1 General

Gowran Park 7.50 – Toccata Blue 0.75pt Win – 4/1 General
