Today’s Info 30th July 2014

Good morning

Nearly a big day! A winner helps but with a bit of luck might have been a couple of double figure cigar moments for us all.

It’s a quick spin through so apologies for a lack of substance!

I think Snow Sky will bounce back to something like we saw before Ascot in the Gordon Stakes. Missed the Derby with a set back but has the right conditions here to be hard to beat.

I hope Kingman continues his domination but there is a bet in the 5.25 that makes appeal. Keith Dalgliesh has been going really well at the lesser tracks and Ryan Moore on George Rooke could be about to land one at a feature event. Been in good nick since returning this year and should get a race to suit once more under the best pilot in the business.

At Galway I hope Tandem lands the opener of course for RacingFM pilot Robbie McNamara but I’m skipping to the handicap hurdle for a punt on the card. Dazzling Susie is just the type to be suited to this track, a front runner with a handy claim taken off the weight and previous form that has to be considered in such a race. Fitness on trust but has gone fine off a break in the past and is over priced.

Two darts at the Plate are Caid Du Berlais and Aupcharlie who fit my requirements for the contest ideally but it is wide open and a fascinating race. Hopefully a bit of luck allowing they will be there at the finish. Last year I managed a 1-2 and lightning has been known to strike twice so I am not ahead to put the head out in the storm. Good luck with your picks!

Advice –

2.30 Snow Sky 1pt Win – 4/1 General , 9/2 in places

5.25 George Rooke 1pt Win – 7/1 General

3.35 Dazzling Susie 0.75pt e/w – 20/1 General

5.30 Aupcharlie 0.75pt e/w – 20/1 General

5.30 Caid Du Berlais 1pt Win – 12/1 General
