Today’s Info 31st May 2014
Carried on the frustrating run of seconds with High Jinx this week, the month has been full of them, I have some hair left but there is a limit!
Good luck to the bonus hunters today of the Scoop6 millions – surely you’d have to join up and have the 8 cracks at the race as one group wouldn’t you?? I’ve a selection in the 2.50 at York, which may help or hinder them, in the form of Jamaican Bolt who in two runs behind Aetna this season has shown enough to suggest the turn is coming. This 5f with Robert Tart on and a race set to be run to suit on the right ground is the reason for chancing the 6 year old and with a bit of luck he will go close at a fair price.
Cubanita is much too big a price for a drop back in trip after running well until her legs gave out on her at York. Forget that run and the 3/1 on offer looks huge given victory over Noble Mission prior to that and her form stacks up well for this easier assignment. James Boyle has highlighted the chances well in his column and I’m in agreement this afternoon.
I have to give Shwaiman anothe chance for the Fanshawe camp after a big run, bigger when you consider the draw, at Chester and although they reach at a higher level here I know expectation of the horse has always been high. He did very little wrong last time and while the ratings tell you he has to improve I think the market underestimates the chances of that happening so the double figures certainly appeal for a wager.
With jollies looking good in many of the races it’s an easy three then for Saturday, no need to hang the hopes of the day and your future on a golden 6 winner ticket this week, we can wait for a few rollovers yet can’t we. Good luck with your bets and a bit of luck always comes in handy!
