Today’s Info 4th April 2015

Saturday action is a bit of everything and on the eve of a cracking looking Easter Festival at Fairyhouse there are some interesting races to tackle.

Start at Haydock with the Handicap Chase at 2pm and Ziga Boy is the one that has most to offer possibly after a blip mid season and a good run last time out at Sandown. Forgive a step into the mud at Ffos Las and consider he was coming to win a decent race at Newbury the time before he looks to be a player in this race with the weights compressed and I expect him to figure at a decent price.

The 3.10 offers King Of The Wolds a chance to build on a confidence boosting win last time out and a horse who really should be winning more often can hopefully continue to thrive now the yard are in better form and he looks attractively handicapped even with a rise for his win at Ayr. I’ve always been a fan and whilst he returned a few quid our way that day he still has more to offer and is an exciting prospect still if his jumping improves again.

The Fixed brush hurdle on the card at 4.20 might give Hello George the chance he needs to get a deserved win this term. Run in some hot races and not had much luck but is very interesting off his mark and is the type to take to this quirky test. Richard Johnson is back on and it will probably up to his mount what transpires, a good race but I think Hello George is a potentially very good but needs to show that now.

It’s still very early for the flat yet but Nakuti, one of my horses to follow from last year is back out and has Ryan Moore booked at Kempton. We saw a hint of the ability last year and I expect there is more to follow, the booking is a great sign of intent first time up and she is again underestimated in the market for Sylvester Kirk.  She will need to improve a good five or six pounds just to figure here on ratings but that is more than likely and hopefully runs a big race.

Have a great afternoon and good luck!
