Today’s Info 4th November 2014

Good morning

Class act Ryan Moore for a class animal in Protectionist landed the Melbourne Cup over night and hats off to Tony McCormick and Ryan Ferris, regular contributors on RacingFM who both nodded that way some time ago for the Race that stops a Nation…Judges!

Looking forward to the Haldon Gold Cup today with Cue Card in action but he has been set some task at the weights to lump round against a decent field. He could do it, a lot will depend on his well being on return but even cherry ripe giving the amount of weight he has to with Hinterland and Balder Succes is very tough and probably too tough in my view. I’m going to chance Hinterland at the weights and the prices and hopefully he is a little straighter than a few of the recent Nicholls runners because he has a great chance to take this with improvement expected this term of course.

Two of interest in the big handicap chase at 3.15, the lightly raced and exciting Ballinvarrig has to be high on the list to improve plenty this term and did everything right last term allowing for a spin at Punchestown too. I expect he will be ready for a return to a track that really suits and he looks a fair price to climb the ranks starting today. The other is Benbane Head who unfortunately likes to find a fence or two in his way but he has ability to win this and they are peservering so I will also do the same at a big price with Sam Twiston Davies a super booking.

Advice –

Exeter 2.15 –  Hinterland 0.75pt Win – 7/2 General

Exeter 3.15 – Ballinvarrig 1pt Win – 7/1 General

Exeter 3.15 – Benbane Head 0.75pt Win – 20/1 General
