Today’s Info 7th May 2015

I’ll be on the desk for the evening cards today but Chester once again takes focus on RacingFM during the afternoon.

We got a good run from Gabrial’s King whilst Mubaraza was never in the race from a poor break, Ed Dunlop took the Cup with a horse that has improved bundles and it is a decent training performance with Trip To Paris. Our sprinter was struggling on the ground as it softened up a lot during the dand and therefore a quiet start on the Roodee.

Tannaaf looks overpriced in the Vase this afternoon, Aidan O’Brien has not sent a strong entry and heads the market by default really and this is a weak looking renewal. Tannaaf will step up on the return from Meydan with a solid run which showed enough to be of interest at inflated odds in an open race.

I like Ardmay in the last under Jamie Spencer, the run last time was promising but pulling too hard and Kevin Ryan’s charge is effective here especially with a little give in the ground no issue. Pieces go on which should help to settle him and Jamie should have an easy enough job from the draw to be thereabouts when it matters. A fair each way price with things ideal for another good run this term and with a bit of luck a winning one.

Best of luck to all
